This is a green flower, with deep deep roots. The green color coding on my strings means that this was made from a G string (tee hee hee).
 
guitARTwork is my fun way of recycling guitar strings. I use the strings to make music, then I use them to make artwork. On this piece, the retired strings were bent and shaped into a picture, placed on cedar wood, and set in tabletop epoxy. I also used white stain to make the strings pop a little.
